Tell us about yourself and your cycling or adventuring achievements.
My love for bicycles has been with me since I was a small child and I have family and friends to thank for introducing me to this passion in the 90s. Back then my Dad and his friends founded a small family friendly mountain bike club in Worcestershire.

There was great emphasis on bringing new experiences and adventures to me and my friends using the discipline of mountain biking to achieve this. Bike related camping trips were the norm and we often went to bike events such as the Malvern Classic and Cheddar Challenge. These early memories sparked a lifelong interest and love in all things bicycle related.

What are your favourite things to do on the bike?
The great thing about cycling is that there are many different forms of riding to try and I enjoy the variety it has to offer. I love bike packing and the freedom of exploring new areas and getting completely cut off from the rest of the busy world. But I am also very happy to blast round the local woods at Swinley Forest or go to Wales and spend the weekend riding at various trail centres.

Where is the most exciting place you've ridden your bike?
There have been many great places I have visited with my bike. one of the most memorable being Scotland.

What is your goal in life, cycling or otherwise?
I will always strive to be the best at what I do

Who are your sporting heroes?
Not exactly a sportsman more of an adventurer/explorer but I do think Ed Stafford is very inspiring.

Tell us about what you do at Spokes of Bagshot
I keep the workshop running smoothly and I make sure that our customers are reunited with their bicycle fixed to a high professional standard.

What does being on the Spokes team mean to you?
I’m fortunate enough to work with a fantastic team doing a job I have a huge interest in. It means a lot to be able to get a bike fixed and back on the road or trail for someone, it’s very rewarding work.

If you had one piece of advice for someone new to cycling what would it be?Try and keep your bike in a good working condition. There is nothing worse than having a weekend cut short due to an easily preventable mechanical disaster.
You might find yourself thinking back and regretting not getting that dodgy crank swapped out or leaving that freehub for one more month.
