Tell us about yourself and your cycling or adventuring achievements.
I have Been Cycling almost my whole life. I don't have any massive acheivments per say but Mountainbiking has allowed me to do things that I wouldn't have thought possible. Lead me to Breath taking places that I didn't no exhisted and introduced me to a massive comunity of Amazing like minded people. Some of which are my closest freinds to this day, not to mention my Girlfriend of two years who I met through Mountainbiking.

What are your favorite things to do on the bike?
For me personally nothing beats a Summers eve session at a decent set of trails with some mates before the sun goes down. If not that cycling provides a good escape for me when life outside of riding isn't running so smoothly. An hour or two on the bike with no destination or agender is the best way I've found to clear your head and put things in perspective sometimes.

Which bike(s) do you ride?
I currently have an ever evolving Octane one dirt jump bike fitted with Rockshox forks and Hope wheels for the little stuff. And A Saracen Ariel Enduro bike from a few years ago which is getting me by on the big stuff until I can get my hands on a T-160 Whyte or an Orange Alpine

Where is the most exciting place you've ridden your bike?
Chatel Bikepark in the French Alps. Literally the best Mountainbiking ever. Long imaculalty built trails down the Mountain and a chair lift to bring you back up. What is not to love. Like skiing but Warm!

What is your goal in life, cycling or otherwise?
The ultimate goal is to Live a happy and fulfilled life as I supose everyones is really. For right now Mountainbiking seems to bring me the most happiness so I'm going to carry on following that for now and see where it takes me. Its brought me to spokes so far where I have met an incredible group of people who love cycling just as much as I do so I'd say its going pretty well so far :D

Who are your sporting heroes?
Aaron “Wheels” Fotheringham is a freestyle Wheelchair athlete. He founded the sport of WCMX being the first person to land a backflip, a double backflip and many other tricks on a wheelchair. Despite not being able to move his legs and the amount of challanges his life has thrown at him, He has managed to overcome the odds and become a true legend of Extreme sports.

Tell us about what you do at Spokes of Bagshot
I am a mechanic mainly and I am charge of many of the bike services, the odd Custom build and a lot of the smaller jobs too. I build bikes from time to time and saftey check bikes on the shop floor before the customer takes them home. I do a bit of sales too when I have time mainly specialising in mountainbikes.

What does being on the Spokes team mean to you?
Apart from being a place of work where I can save up and Fuel my passion for riding, its a place where I have learnt skills both in working on bikes and life skills in general. I have met some amazing customers, and worked on some amazing bikes. Its pretty cool to be able to make a living doing what you love alongside a great team of individual but like minded people.

If you had one piece of advice for someone new to cycling what would it be?
Do it! Apart from it being good exercise and it being a great way to get out in the fresh air. It provides a freedom and escape that I don't believe any other sport has. You can literally go anywhere you like whether its in the woods, on the road or in the park anyone can do it and you can do it at any level. I know it can be expensive believe me I wish it wasn't but it is so worth it once you get into it.
