Whyte Gisburn v5 - 50cm
Ride Without Boundaries.
The Gisburn is perfect if you’re looking for a gravel bike that’s fun, versatile, and will push the limits of what you can do off-road on a drop-barred bike: it's the ultimate expression of the no-limits drop-bar adventure bike philosophy Whyte started developing over a decade ago. Delivering you incredible comfort, control, and capability on every surface, gravel is just the start of where our flagship explorer can take you.

Why Gisburn
Light yet tough, lively yet surefooted, fast on the road and fun in the woods, we’ve engineered the Gisburn with a unique blend of our mountain bike (MTB) and road innovations, combined with a perfect balance of tough and tech equipment. The Gisburn’s longer-reach alloy frame, short stem and wider, riser bar – together with the trail buzz-reducing carbon fork – boost comfort and confidence, while the custom offset fork keeps the Total Geometry steering fresh, light and naturally balanced without the flop and wander of a slack head angle. The result isn’t just on-trail confidence, but a neutral and natural steering feel on road, too. That’s true whether you’re riding technical trails or loaded with bike-packing gear.
Plus, if you want to push your riding even further off-road – or tailor your ride for a variety of different uses – the frame will take up to a 700x50mm tyre in the rear and up to a 29x2.0in tyre up front for a massive grip, comfort and confidence boost through all weathers.
Features & Equipment
Because a gravel bike can do so much it can be hard to know what equipment works best. That’s why we’ve done the thinking and test riding for you and loaded the Gisburn with every advantage possible: the latest extra-wide range SRAM XPLR eTap AXS wireless gearing for fast, precise and reliable shifting – even through the worst conditions – to conquer any climb; custom-shaped, compact drop flared and shaped bars for perfectly confident and comfortable control; tough, wide Race Face tubeless rims with supple yet grippy large volume Maxxis tyres; as well as SRAM Rival hydraulic disc brakes with a larger 180mm front rotor give you maximum braking control. We even fitted a dropper post as standard so your saddle won’t get in the way of confident control and rider balance – perfect for when chasing those singletrack thrills or when tackling the rougher end of the gravel spectrum suddenly gets steep and techy.
Add in weather-sealed cable ports, masses of mud clearance around 700x45mm tyres to ensure bad weather will never hold you back, as well as frame and fork mounting points to take a full set of bike packing gear or conventional pannier racks, the only limit on how far you can go with the Gisburn is your imagination.
